Why We Celebrate
This year, we will honor outstanding individuals and companies who have made significant contributions to the industry.
- Miskelly Furniture, a Top 100 retailer, will receive the Retailer of the Year award
- Roy Hester of Planned Furniture Promotions will be recognized as Industry Icon.
- Edward Massood of Massood Logistics will be named Pillar of the Industry
- IHFRA rep Ted Jarnagin will receive the Legacy Rep award.
- John Pinion IV will be presented with the Distinguished Service Award.
We are also thrilled to recognize four Rising Stars who have shown exceptional promise as future leaders in the industry:
- Cameron Wanek of Ashley Furniture
- Kian Amini of AICO
- Sydney Harris of Furnitureland South
- Katie Korngold of Korngold Sales & Marketing.

Parking Information
Parking Address: 1315 N. University Parkway High Point, NC 27262
On-Campus parking is not permitted.
Shuttles will run from HPU's Parking Lot to the Qubein Center. Shuttles will run every few minutes starting at 5:45p - 6:45p
When the event concludes, shuttles will be staged in front of the arena to take guests back to their vehicles.
Please Note: If you plan on using Uber or other ridesharing services, HPU security will allow your driver to pick up and drop off from the Qubein Arena.
Agenda
- 6:00pm - Cocktail Reception and Networking with two open bars, passed hors d'oeuvre, Signature Cocktails, Harvest tables and a photobooth
- 7:00pm - Dinner is Served
- 7:30pm - Awards Presentation
- 9:00pm - Closing Remarks
Additional Details
- Attire - We understand most guests come straight from market, so we see everything from Business Casual to Formal attire.
- What to expect when you arrive
- The Qubein Center requires all guest to pass through metal detectors when they enter the building.
- Registration tables will be setup to check-in and pick up your place card and table information.
- Food Allergies - An allergy-free dinner option is available to any guest that requests it.
